Speech on the 9th World Friends Day Celebration Conference (Bangkok, Thailand)

Dear distinguished guests and friends, good afternoon!
Today, we gather in the beautiful tourist capital of Bangkok to celebrate the 9th World Friends Day. On behalf of the World Friends Day Organizing Committee, I extend a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to friends from all over the world, from various regions, and from the host country Thailand.
The theme of the 9th World Friends Day is: "Friendly affection, the common home of human emotions!" The activities began on September 9, 2024, in my hometown of Fushun, Liaoning, China, with the launch at the Fushun Friends Tribe. A series of international cultural and economic events were held, including poetry contests, health tourism, cultural gatherings, and business exchanges. Finally, the event landed in Thailand, and with the joint efforts of the main organizers, supporting units, and friends, the basic format of the World Friends Day, which includes "two forums, one cultural trip, and one celebration," was once again presented brilliantly.
The World Friends Day has been held successfully nine times since its inception in 2016, in Fiji, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Australia, Qufu, Fushun, Laos, and now Thailand. As the Chinese saying goes, "Nine nines make one, nine nines last long," this will be a new starting point for us. Our original aspiration remains unchanged: the concept of "Everyone is friend, all things together" will always be rooted in the cause of the World Friends Day.
As a member of the China Commercial Culture Research Association under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, starting next year, the World Friends Day working committee will engage in broader cooperation with various domestic and international associations and groups. We will form a strategic alliance with the United Nations NGO Pacific Regional Development and Educational Organization and the Entrepreneurs Committee of the China Commercial Culture Research Association, stepping onto larger domestic and international stages together.
We will establish cultural and artistic exchange centers and entrepreneurs exchange centers in various regions at home and abroad, form clubs of different categories, gather talents and enthusiasts from all walks of life, value both "high mountains" and cherish "plains," creating a powerful flow pool. With exchange as a feature, we will form multiple interactions with relevant associations and groups at home and abroad, jointly creating a great era of common development in human social culture and economy, linked by friendship and love!
Here, I hope to reach a consensus with all of you present, hand in hand, to share and prosper together. May the world be peaceful and beautiful! May friendship spread throughout the world! Once again, thank you all for your friendship!
